Sundown Worship Event: The Wedding at Cana

Some newlyweds may believe that everything in the relationship will work out smoothly after the wedding. Likewise, we may believe that our journey with Jesus will be like flowers and roses and beautiful trees and great sceneries. However, many times this is not the case. There are times when we feel like giving up because it seems that there is no hope.

Like the wedding at Cana when Jesus was there, they ran out of wine, but God performed the first miracle by turning water into wine. We have instances in our lives when our faith is running out and drying up. There are times when it is difficult to keep on going and the challenges we face make us feel hopeless.

But we have a God who can perform miracles and can turn our negative experiences into something beautiful. Let us open our minds to the reality that our God is powerful and He will never give up on us. Troubles come and go but those who are grounded in truth remain standing.
